Job summary

Allegiant Air in Las Vegas is seeking a Total Rewards Intern who will support compensation and benefits teams with data analysis, reporting, audits, program administration, and Team Member inquiries. This internship provides hands-on exposure to compensation practices, employee benefits, leave administration, job documentation, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, or a recent graduate within the previous twelve months.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the Compensation Jira portal and maintain related tracking records and spreadsheets.
• Assist with creating, reviewing, and updating job descriptions.
• Route new and updated job descriptions for applicable DOT, CHRC, SIDA, KCM, and CASS designation reviews and approvals.
• Conduct research related to compensation practices and applicable wage-and-hour requirements.
• Support annual compensation processes and other compensation projects as assigned.
• Monitor leave of absence status for Pilot, Flight Attendant, and Maintenance CBA Team Members.
• Sort and scan Benefit and Compensation mail.
• Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, supplemental benefits, and retirement plans.
• Support the benefits enrollment process, including new hire enrollments, changes, and terminations.
• Assist with the preparation and distribution of benefits communication materials.
• Participate in benefits-related projects and initiatives, such as wellness programs and open enrollment.
• Complete outreach calls to assist Team Members in completing their benefits enrollment.
• Perform other benefits and compensation-related administrative tasks as assigned.
• Respond to Team Member inquiries via phone and email, providing timely, accurate information and directing questions to the appropriate resource when needed.
• Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing direction.
