Job summary

MGT Consulting Group is seeking a Benefits and Leave Specialist to join the People Operations team. You will serve as a subject matter expert in Benefits Administration, Leave Management, and foundational Compensation Operations, ensuring Total Rewards programs are accurately administered and compliant.

You will report to the People Operations Director, support employees, and partner with Payroll, HRIS, and vendors to optimize program performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
3+ years of experience in benefits administration and leave management; compensation experience preferred.
Strong understanding of health & welfare benefits, retirement programs, and Total Rewards fundamentals.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to benefits and leave (ERISA, ACA, FMLA, ADA, COBRA).
Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

Administer and manage all employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
Manage leave programs including FMLA, ADA, STD/LTD, and personal leaves.
Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate processing of leave-related pay and benefits.
Analyze Total Rewards workflows and recommend improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
Document processes and SOPs for benefits, leave, and compensation functions.
Support regulatory reporting accuracy and ACA compliance.
