The Office Manager will provide essential short-term coverage for the school’s main office, ensuring daily administrative operations remain organized, welcoming, and responsive. This individual will serve as a key point of contact for students, families, faculty, visitors, and vendors while supporting attendance, records, communications, and general office needs. The ideal candidate is professional, friendly, highly organized, and able to quickly step into a fast-moving school environment with minimal ramp-up time.
Competitive compensation of $28-$30 per hour. Consistent Monday-Friday schedule from 7:45 AM-4:00 PM . Short-term 2-4 week assignment with an immediate start opportunity. Opportunity to support a welcoming, student-centered educational community. Engaging onsite environment with regular interaction across students, faculty, families, and school leadership.
Oversee daily main office operations and provide professional, hospitable front desk support to students, families, faculty, visitors, and vendors. Manage incoming phone calls, visitor inquiries, student attendance information, mail, deliveries, and general office communications. Perform accurate data entry, maintain student and administrative records, and support effective records management. Coordinate office supplies, equipment, forms, and other resources needed for smooth daily operations. Provide general administrative and clerical support to faculty and staff, responding to changing priorities and time-sensitive needs. Assist students with basic needs and provide light first-aid support when the Health Coordinator is unavailable, following established school procedures.
Demonstrated office management, front desk, administrative, or similar operational support experience. Strong phone etiquette, customer service, data entry, records management, and organizational skills. Comfortable working in a school or similarly community-focused environment and interacting professionally with students, parents, faculty, visitors, and vendors. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and adapt quickly. Professional, courteous, friendly, dependable, and committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive office environment.
This temporary position offers a competitive pay rate of $28-$30 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits available to eligible temporary employees may vary based on assignment length and applicable eligibility requirements.
