Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an organized HR Coordinator for a temporary assignment from November 2026 to June 2027 in Pearl River, NY. The role supports HR operations, onboarding, employee records, Rippling administration, and engagement across the employee lifecycle in a hybrid setup (onsite Tue-Thu, remote Mon/Fri).

The position runs seven months with a 40-hour work week, hourly compensation between $27.00 and $30.00, and holiday pay for direct temporary employees. Sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• One to three years of Human Resources or People Operations experience.
• Experience working in an HRIS; Rippling experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear, professional communication and a service-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
• Prepare onboarding materials and ensure a positive first-day experience for new hires.
• Process and document lifecycle changes (promotions, compensation changes, transfers).
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Respond to employee inquiries and route complex questions to the People & Culture team.
• Support day-to-day Rippling administration and HR workflows.
• Assist with reporting, audits, and data validation and identify process improvements.
