Job summary

Apple Rehab Inc in Connecticut seeks an experienced CNA to cover multiple nearby nursing facilities. Minimum 16 hours per week with flexible scheduling. We currently need 3–11pm shifts. A temporary rate of $30/hr is available for CNAs on short- or long-term contracts.

You will provide personal care, record vitals, turn residents, and report changes to supervisors. Must have CT CNA certification in good standing, prior senior-care experience, and the ability to work various shifts.

Job Description

C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant documents personal care given according to facility policies. Provides nursing functions as directed including perineal care, making beds, turning residents, measures and records temperature, weight, pulse and respiration. C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant observes and reports to supervisor changes in residents’ condition, including any skin breakdowns. Reports immediately all accidents or injuries. Records all necessary charting entries. Answers all call lights regardless of assignment.

Requirements Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of CT in good standing
• Experience in senior care required
• No history of patient/resident abuse as per State Registry.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards residents and their support networks.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed a MUST!
