Job summary

A Skilled Nursing Home Facility in Groton, CT is seeking an experienced CNA to join multiple nearby facilities. A minimum of 16 hours per week is required, with same-day offers for qualified candidates and shifts 3-11pm.

We are offering a special temporary rate of $30/hr for experienced CNAs on short- or long-term contracts and require dedication to resident care, accurate charting, and teamwork. Work is in-person at multiple locations with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in CT in good standing.
• Experience in senior care required.
• No history of patient/resident abuse as per State Registry.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards residents and their support networks.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed a MUST!

Responsibilities

• C.N.A. provides personal care per facility policies and performs nursing functions as directed.
• Observes and reports changes in residents’ condition, including skin breakdowns.
• Records necessary charting entries and answers call lights.

Job Description:

C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant documents personal care given according to facility policies. Provides nursing functions as directed including perineal care, making beds, turning residents, measures and records temperature, weight, pulse and respiration. C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant observes and reports to supervisor changes in residents’ condition, including any skin breakdowns. Reports immediately all accidents or injuries. Records all necessary charting entries. Answers all call lights regardless of assignment.

Requirements Qualifications:
