Job summary

Apple Rehab Inc. is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents across nearby facilities. The role requires CT certification, senior care experience, and a patient, detail-oriented approach. You will work flexible shifts with a minimum 16 hours per week and be paid weekly.

Responsibilities include personal care, reporting changes, charting, and responding to calls, with a team-focused environment and opportunities for a stable schedule.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid CT CNA certification in good standing.
• Experience in senior care required.
• No history of patient abuse per State Registry.
• Proficient reading, writing and following oral and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Attendance is a MUST!
• Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• C.N.A. provides personal care as per facility policies and records vital signs.
• Observes and reports changes in residents’ condition to supervisor.
• Responds to all call lights and completes required charting.
• Assists with bed making, turning residents and perineal care as directed.

Job Description:

C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant documents personal care given according to facility policies. Provides nursing functions as directed including perineal care, making beds, turning residents, measures and records temperature, weight, pulse and respiration. C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant observes and reports to supervisor changes in residents’ condition, including any skin breakdowns. Reports immediately all accidents or injuries. Records all necessary charting entries. Answers all call lights regardless of assignment.

Requirements Qualifications:

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of CT in good standing




• Experience in senior care required




• No history of patient/resident abuse as per State Registry.




• Proficient in reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions.




• Strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.




• Attendance is a MUST!




• Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills.
