Job summary

Apple Rehab Inc in Connecticut is seeking an experienced CNA to join our team. The role requires working at multiple nearby facilities with a minimum of 16 hours per week and shifts such as 3-11pm.

You will perform standard CNA duties, document care, and report changes promptly. We offer weekly pay, a 401(k) with match, and a flexible schedule with on-site work.

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in CT
• Experience in senior care required—minimum 2 years
• No history of patient/resident abuse as per State Registry
• Proficient in reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions
• Strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Attendance is a MUST
• Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards residents and their support networks
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing functions as directed including perineal care, making beds, turning residents, measuring and recording temperature, weight, pulse, and respiration
• Observes and reports changes in residents’ condition, including skin breakdowns
• Reports immediately all accidents or injuries
• Records all necessary charting entries
• Answers all call lights regardless of assignment

C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant documents personal care given according to facility policies. Provides nursing functions as directed including perineal care, making beds, turning residents, measures and records temperature, weight, pulse and respiration. C.N.A.
