Rockland Trust is seeking a Teller Trainee to be the friendly face in our branches, delivering courteous service while handling a variety of banking transactions. You will learn product offerings and client needs, building relationships with customers and supporting branch goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Comfortable using technology to facilitate business goals.
• Sales and service-oriented personality.
• Professional appearance.
• Positive approach to interactions with customers and team members.
• Ability to work in normal office requirements with long periods of standing.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Must complete onboarding, job-specific, compliance training within set timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Make the first impression to customers entering the branch and guide them to the right colleagues.
• Engage in ongoing customer support with efficient, courteous service in person and by phone.
• Provide information on Rockland Trust products suited to customer needs.
• Handle deposits, withdrawals, payments, cash checks, and other financial transactions with accuracy.
• Make decisions alongside the immediate supervisor as knowledge grows.
• Collaborate with the training team to complete Teller Training.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
