Rockland Trust is seeking a Teller Trainee to be the friendly face at our branches, delivering efficient customer service and helping customers with banking needs. You will engage with customers, handle routine transactions, and learn to navigate Rockland Trust's products and services.

The role emphasizes accuracy, courtesy, and developing relationships with customers while you grow through comprehensive teller training and branch collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using technology, including computers, to facilitate business goals.
• Sales and service-oriented mindset.
• Professional appearance and professional conduct.
• Positive interactions with customers and teammates.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including weekends.
• Must complete onboarding and training programs.

Responsibilities

• Make the first impression to customers entering the branch and guide them to the right colleague.
• Provide constant customer support in person and over the phone.
• Inform customers about Rockland Trust products that fit their needs.
• Perform deposits, withdrawals, payments, cash handling, and other transactions accurately.
• Make decisions with supervisor as knowledge grows.
• Collaborate with training and branch teams to complete Teller Training.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
