Rockland Trust in Massachusetts is seeking a Teller Trainee to join our branches, delivering friendly, accurate service while learning essential banking operations and customer engagement. This entry-level role places you on the front line of daily banking and supports branch goals.

You’ll greet customers, process deposits and withdrawals, explain products, and participate in Rockland Trust’s Teller Training program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using technology, including computers, to facilitate business goals.
• Sales and service-oriented personality.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
• Positive approach to interactions with customers and team members.
• Ability to stand for long periods and handle multiple customer tasks.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Make the first impression to customers entering the branch and guide them to the appropriate colleague.
• Provide continuous customer support in person and over the phone with efficiency and courtesy.
• Provide information on Rockland Trust banking products tailored to customer needs.
• Perform deposits, withdrawals, payments, cash checks, and other financial transactions accurately.
• Make decisions with supervision as knowledge grows.
• Collaborate with the training team and branch to complete Teller Training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
