Job summary

Rockland Trust is seeking a Teller Trainee to join our branch network in Massachusetts. You will greet customers, handle routine transactions, and learn product solutions that meet client needs while delivering friendly service.

You’ll participate in Teller Training with our training team and branch staff, building a foundation in cash handling, deposits, withdrawals, and customer engagement. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using computers and technology to support banking tasks.
• Sales and service-oriented mindset.
• Professional appearance and positive demeanor.
• Willingness to work weekends when needed.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Completion of onboarding and training within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and direct them to the appropriate colleague.
• Provide courteous customer service in person and by phone.
• Explain Rockland Trust products and services to meet customer needs.
• Complete deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other transactions accurately.
• Support branch training and teamwork; participate in Teller Training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
