Citizens Bank in Yonkers is seeking a Teller to greet customers, demonstrate banking apps and ATMs, and deliver personalized financial guidance. You will help customers achieve their goals by connecting them with the right Bankers and supporting cash handling and compliance.

This role includes weekend/evening hours and ongoing training opportunities. Starting at $21/hour with a competitive benefits package including health, 401(k) matching, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED
• Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments)
• Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers
• Strong listening and communication skills
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance and develop a long‑term customer relationship
• Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues
• Customer‑centric to deliver exceptional service
• Comfortable with using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings

Responsibilities

• You’ll greet our customers in our lobbies and demonstrate how to use our Mobile app or ATMs to complete simple transactions.
• You’ll create amazing experiences for customers, providing personalized advice and connecting them to Bankers for the next step.
• You’ll follow all policies, including cash handling and relevant laws and regulations.
