Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Telesales Specialist, RSG. You will sell registrations for community training classes and Red Cross Store products, primarily to individuals, with some business-to-business exposure.

You will apply consultative selling to match courses and products to customer needs. We offer an hourly wage with a commission plan; typical pay is aligned to location with base compensation around the stated target hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales experience (Call Center OK).
• Ability to multi-task across multi-system platforms.
• Strong influence and negotiation skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls for customers interested in courses or Store products.
• Act as consultant to uncover training and retail needs.
• Recommend and sell training classes and Store products based on customer needs.
• Handle credit card transactions and place orders through Sales systems.
• Accurately document and update all cases in Salesforce.
• Upsell Red Cross Store products that complement class enrollment.
• Address questions and concerns about classes or products.
