Job summary

The American Red Cross in Minnesota is hiring a Telesales Specialist, RSG to sell registrations for community training classes and Red Cross Store products to individuals and small businesses.

You will use sales skills to understand customer needs, process orders, and document activity in Salesforce while working toward annual revenue targets. The role offers an hourly wage plus commissions and is based in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales experience, preferably in a call center.
• Experience with selling training or store products is a plus.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls for training courses or store products.
• Act as consultant to uncover customer training and retail needs.
• Recommend and sell classes and store products based on needs.
• Process credit card transactions and place orders.
• Document and update cases in Salesforce.
• Upsell store products that complement class enrollment.
• Handle returns, exchanges, or cancellations per policy.
• Answer questions and address concerns about classes or products.
• Help achieve revenue targets for training and retail.
