Job summary

Banner Ironwood Medical Center in Queen Creek, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Telemetry unit (PCU Telemetry). The nurse will join an experienced RN team on a newly established 12-bed unit, providing care to acuity patients admitted from ED or ICU downgrades.

Responsibilities include planning, delivering and documenting high-quality nursing care, with opportunities for education and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and planning of care.
• Implement and coordinate nursing care per plan.
• Document care and communicate with care team.
• Supervise and mentor other staff as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.
