Job summary

Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU 5W). The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients requiring telemetry monitoring, while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

This role features 2x12-hour day shifts (7:00am–7:30pm) with weekend rotations and a $3/hour weekend differential. Eligible hires may receive a $15,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Additional certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual and discharge planning needs.
• Implement the plan of care and coordinate with the health care team.
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the patient record.
• Evaluate patient progress toward goals and adapt the care plan as needed.
