Job summary

Banner Health's Thunderbird Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care/Telemetry Unit on the 6th floor. The role focuses on telemetry and general medical care in a 40-bed PCU with strong emphasis on rapid assessment, critical thinking, and teamwork.

Night shift is offered with a generous 18% night differential and weekend differential. We value self-motivated nurses with acute care backgrounds (Telemetry, ICU, Home Health, Skilled Nursing, Medical/Surgical) and a commitment

Qualifications

• RN license and BLS certification required; acute care experience preferred.
• Experience in PCU/Telemetry or related critical care settings is desirable.
• Training from Banner Health or equivalent on-the-job programs is valued.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan nursing care according to policies and standards.
• Coordinate and supervise care with the health care team and family input.
• Implement care plans, document care and patient responses to treatment.
• Evaluate outcomes and adjust care as needed with evidence-based practice.
• Ensure accurate communication to care teams and maintain patient safety.
