Job summary

Emerus, the leader in small-format hospitals, is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse for PCU/Step-Down/Tele RN to join our night shift team (7 PM–7 AM). This full-time role supports high‑acuity patients in a compact 20‑bed hospital setting and offers shift differentials and growth opportunities.

You will assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care, follow physician orders, maintain confidentiality, uphold infection control, collect labs, and assist with admissions, discharges and transfers,

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Nursing Diploma; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN license in Pennsylvania with no sanctions.
• 2+ years RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or related roles.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.
• English fluency in spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific nursing care using advanced clinical knowledge.
• Follow physician orders in delivering nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Collect lab samples and perform testing per policy and CLIA/COLA rules.
• Manage admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Assemble equipment for procedures and assist with treatments.
• Ensure care aligns with nursing standards and state regulations.
