Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse (PCU/Step-Down/Tele RN) for night shifts at a 20-bed small-format hospital in Pennsylvania. The role focuses on assessment, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care with emphasis on safety and comfort.

Ideal candidates have PA RN licensure, 2+ years in Telemetry/ICU, and BLS/ACLS. BSN preferred; PALS encouraged. Act 33/Act 73 clearances may be required before start date.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current PA RN license without sanctions.
• 2+ years RN Telemetry/ICU or related healthcare experience.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred; ENPC may substitute for PALS.
• Fluency in English; clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate nursing care using specialty knowledge to ensure patient safety.
• Follow physician orders in delivering nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques in care delivery.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform tests per policy and COLA/CLIA regs.
• Handle admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
• Assemble equipment for procedures and assist others as needed.
• Follow hospital policies and nursing standards.
