Job summary

Emerus is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse for PCU/Step-Down/Tele RN to join our night shift team in a 20-bed hospital. The role emphasizes assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in collaboration with physicians.

You will provide age-specific nursing care, follow orders, maintain privacy, and perform admissions; a BSN is preferred and PA licensure required. This FT night-shift position offers shift differentials, parking, and opportunities within a network of partner

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in Pennsylvania, without sanctions.
• Minimum 2+ years RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or related roles.
• Current BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred.
• English fluency for written and verbal communication.
• Act 33 and Act 73 clearances within the last 5 years or prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care.
• Follow physician orders for delivery of nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Collect specimens, perform lab testing per policy and COLA/CLIA.
• Handle admissions, discharges, transfers.
• Prepare equipment for procedures and assist as needed.
• Adhere to state nursing standards and boards.
