Job summary

Emerus, a leader in small-format hospitals, is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse to assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care across PCU/Step-Down/Tele units. You will apply advanced clinical nursing knowledge to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Required: 2+ years RN telemetry/ICU or related experience, Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing, and a current US RN license with BLS/ACLS (PALS preferred). This is a PRN/Casual Day shift role with competitive differential benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or nursing diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in the United States without sanctions.
• 2+ years RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or related roles.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific, holistic nursing care in PCU/Step-Down/Tele units.
• Follow physician orders and ensure patient privacy and safety.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques in care delivery.
• Handle admissions, discharges, transfers and procedure prep.
• Prepare equipment and assist with diagnostic/treatment procedures.
