Job summary

Emerus is hiring an Inpatient Registered Nurse for PCU/Step-Down/Tele units at our Willow Park facility. Day shift 7AM-7PM, full-time. You'll assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care, prioritize high-acuity patients, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidate has 2+ years in Telemetry/ICU, strong cardiac rhythm interpretation, and comfort with BiPAP and high-flow oxygen. We offer night/weekend differentials, 401K match, referral bonuses, and free parking.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for higher-acuity inpatient patients in a fast-paced hospital environment with ability to assess, prioritize, and respond to changing patient conditions.
• Demonstrated competency managing cardiac infusions and strong rhythm interpretation skills.
• Experience supporting patients requiring advanced respiratory therapies, including BiPAP and high-flow oxygen.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with interdisciplinary teams and telemedicine/virtual platforms.
• Willingness to care for critically ill patients and support stabilization efforts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide age-specific nursing care with advanced specialty knowledge.
• Follow physician's orders in delivering nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per policies and regulations.
• Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
• Assemble equipment for procedures and assist others.
