Job summary

Emerus is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse (PCU/Step-Down/Tele RN) for a 20-bed small-format hospital. You will assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care during night shifts, following physician orders and ensuring patient privacy and safety.

The role requires 2+ years RN experience in telemetry/ICU, current RN licensure in PA, and BLS/ACLS; PALS preferred. We offer night/weekend differentials and strong benefits, including a 401K match and free parking.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or nursing diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state without sanctions.
• 2+ years RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or related healthcare roles.
• Current BLS and ACLS; PALS preferred; ENPC may substitute for PALS.
• English fluency in written and spoken form; PA clearances completed if in PA.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care with age-appropriate approaches.
• Follow physician orders in delivering nursing care and ensure privacy.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques during care.
• Collect labs and perform testing per established policies and COLA/CLIA.
• Manage admissions, discharges and transfers; prepare equipment as needed.
• Follow state nursing practice standards and hospital policies.
