Job summary

Emerus is seeking an Inpatient Nurse (PCU/Step-Down/Tele RN) for the Full-Time Night Shift at our Greensburg, PA facility. The role focuses on assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care with emphasis on telemetry/ICU patients and adherence to quality standards.

The ideal candidate has an RN license in PA, 2+ years in Telemetry/ICU, BLS/ACLS, and prefers PALS. Act 33/73 clearances must be completed before start. We offer a sign-on bonus and night/weekend differentials.

Qualifications

• RN license in Pennsylvania without sanctions.
• 2+ years of RN experience in Telemetry/ICU.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.
• English fluency in written and spoken form.
• PA Act 33 and Act 73 clearances within the last 5 years or before start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care.
• Plan and provide age-specific nursing care with advanced clinical knowledge.
• Follow physician orders in delivering nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information and records.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques in care.
• Collect lab samples and perform testing per policies and regulations.
• Manage admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Prepare equipment and assist with procedures in the unit.
• Comply with hospital policies and state nursing standards.
