Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in PCU/Step-Down/Tele telemetry within a 20-bed hospital setting in Carlisle, PA.

The role emphasizes age-specific care, treatment adherence, and patient privacy, with responsibilities spanning admissions, lab collection, and coordination of transfers. A BSN is preferred, and state RN licensure plus current BLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions, required.
• 2+ years full-time RN experience in Telemetry/ICU, or 2+ years combination experience in related healthcare positions, required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required; PALS strongly preferred (ENPC certification may be substituted for PALS).
• Position requires fluency in English; written and oral communication.
• Pennsylvania RN's: Act 33 and Act 73 clearances completed within the last 5 years, or must be obtained prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide proficient, age-specific nursing care by applying advanced clinical nursing knowledge and skills.
• Follow physician's orders in the delivery of nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information and records at all times.
• Adhere to infection control, isolation procedures and aseptic techniques.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per policies, COLA, and CLIA.
• Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
