Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Completion of all orientation requirements of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center.
• Successful completion of all orientation programs.
• Preferred: Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or currently matriculating.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in telemetry float pool with emphasis on discharge planning and teaching.
• Participate in delegation and assume charge nurse functions as directed.
• Maintain documentation, patient safety, and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Care for telemetry patients with emphasis on monitoring, vital signs, and IV administration.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
