Job summary

Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in New Jersey is seeking an RN 12.5 Specialty Float Tele for the Telemetry Float Pool. This role covers multiple specialties and requires evening shifts with a robust patient-care focus, including discharge planning and collaboration with the care team.

Ideal candidates are NJ-licensed RNs with BLS certification; a BSN is preferred. Full-time, 12.5-hour shifts, every other weekend, in a fast-paced environment designed to develop clinical proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Completion of all orientation requirements of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center.
• Successful completion of all orientation programs.

Responsibilities

• Assists in discharge planning and ensures written teaching for patients and families.
• Delivers patient care per established standards and coordinates with the care team.
• Assists with nursing procedures and clinical documentation.
• Monitors patient status and reports changes to the nurse manager or designee.
• Maintains patient safety, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.
• Participates in ongoing education and unit-based competencies.
