Job summary

Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 12.5 Hour Specialty Float Telemetry Pool in New Jersey. Work is in the Telemetry Float Pool with an evening shift, full-time status, and a 37.5-hour weekly schedule.

Responsibilities include discharging planning, patient education, IV care, and collaborating with the care team. NJ RN license and BLS are required, BSN preferred; strong bedside skills and telemetry proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Completion of all orientation requirements of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center.
• Successful completion of all orientation programs.

Responsibilities

• Discharge planning and ensuring written teaching discharge plans.
• Delegate tasks appropriately while maintaining accountability.
• Assume charge nurse functions as delegated by Nurse Manager.
• Complete daily patient classification and unit-based competencies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient status and nursing interventions.
• Provide patient education and advocate for patient safety.
