Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Completion of all orientation requirements of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center
• Preferred: BSN or currently matriculating

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in discharge planning and provides written teaching discharge plan for patients.
• Delegates tasks appropriately while remaining responsible for patient outcomes
• Assesses staffing needs and assigns work based on patient acuity and staff skills
• Maintains complete and accurate nursing documentation and patient status
• Demonstrates proficiency in telemetry care and related equipment
• Ensures patient safety and privacy at all times and communicates effectively with the care team
