Job summary

Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center is seeking an RN for the 12.5 Specialty Float Tele position in New Jersey. The Telemetry Float Pool offers exposure to Coly Rectal, Medical/Surgical, CTICU Stepdown, Neuro Stepdown, and Heart Failure/Stroke units.

The role emphasizes collaboration, rapid response, and transition of new graduates to competent nursing practice in a high-speed environment. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, New Jersey RN license, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Completion of all orientation requirements of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center.
• Successful completion of all orientation programs.
• Preferred: Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or currently matriculating

Responsibilities

• All patient-related hospital departments, patients, families, visitors, nursing personnel and medical staff.
• Acts in discharge planning and ensures a written teaching discharge plan is developed for assigned patients.
• Delivers individualized patient care in line with standards and policies.
• Assumes charge nurse functions as delegated and assesses staffing needs.
• Maintains accurate documentation of patient status and interventions.
