Job summary

Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center is seeking an RN for the 12.5-hour Specialty Float Tele position in its Telemetry Float Pool. The role is hourly with a pay range of $47.85–$60.60 per hour and requires New Jersey RN licensure and BLS certification.

The schedule is full-time, 7p–8a, with 12.5-hour shifts, 37.5 hours weekly, and every other weekend. Ideal candidate has completed required orientations and may have BSN or be enrolled in a BSN program.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Completion of all orientation requirements of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center.
• Successful completion of all orientation programs.
• Preferred: BSN or currently matriculating.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in discharge planning and provides written discharge teaching for assigned patients.
• Delivers patient care according to established standards, policies and procedures.
• Assumes charge nurse functions as delegated by Nurse Manager.
• Keeps accurate, complete documentation of patient status and medications.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality and demonstrates professional conduct.
