Job summary

Visionworks is seeking an onsite Telehealth Specialist (TS)/Optometric Assistant to be the face of patient care during our Telemed remote eye exam. This part-time role works in-store to guide patients through eye health testing, product choices, and the full Visionworks experience with a friendly, human approach.

You will assist remote exam processes, coordinate with Telemedicine physicians, maintain patient records, and help educate patients from exam to eyewear.

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist remote eye exam processes and liaise between patients and Telemedicine physicians.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Guide patient from doctor to sales floor with education on products and services.
• Support exam lane maintenance, restocking, cleaning equipment, and answering phones.
