Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is hiring a Telecommunication Technician 3 to join our Security and Electronic Systems unit.

You will install and service low‑voltage systems including DAS, CCTV, and fiber, following plans and codes. The role requires hands-on field work, blueprints interpretation, and a path toward becoming a qualified BICSI Technician. Applicants must hold a current TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph, and must travel up to 75% to support federal, healthcare, and government

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6+ years of Telecommunications experience including oversight & installation of OSP/ISP Copper, CCTV, DAS, Fiber Optic & structured cabling.
• BICSI Installer 1 copper certification or higher; additional fiber certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install communications cabling and equipment per plans and standards.
• Work with basic Telecom Systems, blueprints, and codes.
• Gain knowledge of OSP/ISP Copper, CCTV, DAS, Fiber Optic, and structured cabling.
• Pursue BICSI Technician qualifications.
• Support projects across Healthcare, Government, Higher-Education, Federal Aviation, and Mission Critical sectors.
• Travel up to 75%.
