Job summary

M.C. Dean is hiring a Telecommunication Technician 3 to design, install, operate and maintain security and electronic systems for federal, local, and commercial clients. You will work with low-voltage systems including OSP/ISP copper, fiber, CCTV, and DAS.

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, strong technical skills, and the ability to travel up to 75% to support healthcare, government, and mission-critical projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of telecommunications experience in OSP/ISP copper, CCTV and DAS fiber installations.
• ACTIVE TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph required to access classified information.
• BICSI Installer 1 copper certification is required; additional fiber certifications are a plus.
• Experience reading plans and specs and leading field-project teams in complex facilities.

Responsibilities

• Install communications cabling and equipment per plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.
• Gained knowledge of Telecommunication Systems including OSP/ISP, CCTV, DAS, fiber optics, and structured cabling.
• Support healthcare, government, higher-education, and mission-critical environments.
• Lead on-site installation efforts and ensure safe, compliant work practices.
• Travel up to 75% to project sites.
