Job summary

Optimum is seeking a Sales Engineer to provide on-site and in-house pre-sale support for complex voice, data, and video services. You will work with the Commercial Sales team to drive new sales and retention, translating technical concepts for customers and internal teams.

The role involves designing solutions, supporting opportunities, and collaborating across product, engineering, provisioning, and NOC to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• CWNA certification is preferred.
• CCNA certification is preferred.
• BSEE or equivalent experience is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sale technical expertise to Sales Force.
• Consult with account executives on technical questions and design.
• Present Optimum Managed WiFi, Fiber, and HFC advantages to prospects.
• Create Visio diagrams for sales opportunities.
• Interface with customers to determine technical requirements.
