Job summary

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) in Wall Township, NJ seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead telecommunications infrastructure projects, mentor staff, and grow with a regional engineering firm.

You will manage planning through construction support, coordinate schedules and budgets, and ensure compliance with standards, serving as the primary client contact and contributing to proposals and business development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Telecommunications, or related field.
10+ years of experience managing telecommunications, utility, or infrastructure projects within a consulting engineering environment.
Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure including fiber optic systems, wireless facilities, utility coordination, and permitting processes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
Experience with coordinating with municipalities, regulatory agencies, and carriers.
PE license in NJ and PMP preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage telecommunications projects including small cell deployments, fiber optic infrastructure, wireless facilities, utility coordination, and related civil/site development improvements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, utility companies, municipalities, and internal project teams.
Coordinate project schedules, budgets, staffing, and deliverables to ensure on-time, within-budget completion.
Oversee preparation/review of engineering plans, permit applications, and construction documents.
Collaborate with civil, structural, electrical, survey, environmental, and permitting staff.
Monitor progress and resolve issues impacting scope, schedule, or budget.
Attend client meetings, site visits, and project coordination meetings as needed.
Assist with proposals, scope development, fee estimates, and business development initiatives.
Support construction administration including RFIs, submittals, and contractor coordination.
Ensure compliance with regulations, client standards, and quality standards.
Mentor junior staff and support professional growth.
