French & Parrello Associates (FPA) in Wall Township, NJ seeks a Senior Transportation Engineering Project Manager to lead highway and bridge projects. This role focuses on technical leadership, client engagement, and scale for infrastructure programs across New Jersey.

The position requires at least 12 years in transportation/bridge engineering, a PE license, and strong project-management skills, with opportunities to mentor staff and drive business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in civil engineering is required; master’s preferred.
• PE license; NJ license preferred or via reciprocity.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive transportation/bridge experience.
• Experience managing complex design through construction.
• Familiarity with NJDOT/MUTCD standards is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation and infrastructure projects from planning to construction support.
• Manage bridge rehabilitation/replacement and roadway improvements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across disciplines.
• Maintain client relationships with NJDOT, counties, and municipalities.
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and quality control.
• Prepare and review plans, estimates, and technical reports.
• Provide technical guidance on design approaches and project delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and support professional growth.
• Support proposals, client presentations, and business development.
