Job summary

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) seeks a Senior Transportation Engineering Project Manager to lead bridge and highway projects from Wall Township, NJ. You will manage scope, schedule, and budgets, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and maintain client relationships with NJDOT, counties, and municipalities.

You will guide design management, mentor engineers, and contribute to business development while delivering innovative infrastructure solutions across New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required; Master’s preferred.
• PE license required; New Jersey license preferred or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
• Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in transportation/bridge/structural engineering.
• Experience managing complex transportation or bridge projects from design to construction.
• Experience with bridge rehab, replacement, roadways, and transportation infrastructure.
• Proficiency with structural/transportation design software (LEAP Bridge, LARSA, MIDAS, CSiBridge, STAAD).
• Strong understanding of PM principles: scope, schedule, budget, staffing, quality control, risk management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to mentor and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation, bridge, and highway infrastructure projects across New Jersey.
• Serve as Project Manager on major assignments and provide Design Management for delivery.
• Develop relationships with NJDOT, counties, municipalities and other agencies.
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and quality control for projects.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and support business development initiatives.
• Coordinate design activities across disciplines and ensure compliance with standards.
