Job summary

ViaPath is looking for a Telecommunications Site Technician 4 to join our Field Services team. This role is based at the customer site in Whiteville, TN, with travel to additional client sites and the guidance of the Field Service Manager.

You will perform remedial repair, preventive maintenance, and system reliability tasks with limited supervision. Key responsibilities include replacing telephony hardware, wiring, and network components, administering kiosk service, and providing dependable

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technology troubleshooting or related technical experience.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficiency with telephony and networking (copper, CAT5/6, fiber).
• Wiring and cabling diagnostic skills and color code knowledge.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ambassador for ViaPath and uphold service excellence.
• Maintain ViaPath systems at customer sites and assist customers as needed.
• Prioritize, plan, and communicate updates on service calls.
• Escalate problems when appropriate and coordinate with support teams.
• Replace telephony hardware and network components; install devices.
• Administer kiosk service, collect payments, and deposit funds at institutions.
• Troubleshoot issues with tablets, apps, and Wi‑Fi connectivity where applicable.
• Return damaged equipment per RMAs and support field projects.
