Job summary

ViaPath Technologies seeks a Telecommunications Site Technician 4 to join the Field Services team. You will provide remedial repair, preventive maintenance, and system reliability services at client sites, potentially administering kiosk services across an assigned territory.

This role is based at the Whiteville, TN customer site with travel to additional client sites. Independence, strong service orientation, and technical prowess in telephony and networking are essential; overtime and on-call

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years' experience with technology troubleshooting or related technical work.
• Experience troubleshooting: define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions.
• Ability to use wiring and cabling diagnostic tools (Link Runners, Fluke, Wi‑Fi Hounds).
• Proficient with Windows OS and MS Office.
• Telephony and networking experience (copper, CAT5/6, fiber).
• Experience wiring color codes and data cabling.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites, sometimes overnight.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a positive ambassador for ViaPath at customer sites.
• Maintain service of ViaPath products and assist customers as needed.
• Prioritize and plan service calls; communicate updates.
• Escalate problems when appropriate and work with support teams.
• Interact professionally with customers to foster relationships.
• Be the point of contact for facility staff on customer accounts.
• Replace telephony hardware and network components; perform basic maintenance.
• Install telephony hardware and mount network devices; pull cables.
• Administer kiosk service, manage collections, and deposits.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of devices, apps, and Wi‑Fi; support hardware/software fixes.
• Troubleshoot wiring issues and repairs on 66-Blocks or Cutoff Switches.
• Handle special projects; work overtime and on-call when required.
