Job summary

ViaPath Technologies is seeking a Telecommunications Site Technician 4 for our Field Services team. Based at client sites in Phoenix, AZ, you will perform repair, maintenance, and reliability services, with travel to additional sites as needed.

You will replace telephony hardware, pull cables, install devices, and administer kiosk service while coordinating with Field Service management. A strong background in networking, telephony, and troubleshooting is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years in technology troubleshooting or related technical experience.
• Experience defining problems, collecting data, and drawing conclusions.
• Ability to use wiring diagnostic tools (Link Runners, Fluke, Wi‑Fi Hounds).
• Proficiency in Windows OS and MS Office.
• Experience with telephony and networking (copper, CAT5/6, fiber).
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance; valid driver's license and travel willingness.
• Comfort with security-sensitive environments and overtime/on-call.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ambassador for ViaPath with customers, demonstrating service excellence.
• Oversee service of ViaPath products at client sites and assist customers as needed.
• Prioritize and plan service calls; communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Escalate problems when appropriate and work with Technical Support as needed.
• Interact professionally with customers to foster positive relationships.
• Act as point of contact for facility staff regarding customer accounts.
• Replace telephony hardware and network components; pull cable and install devices.
• Administer kiosk service, collections, and deposits at financial institutions.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software with support and maintain knowledge of standards/procedures.
• Wiring troubleshooting and repairs on 66-Blocks or Cutoff Switches; repairs as needed.
• Handle special projects; expect overtime or callouts; support team environment.
• Troubleshoot video visitation issues and basic tablet/Wi‑Fi concerns.
• Return damaged or inoperable equipment per RMAs.
