Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services has long supported North American networks with installation, maintenance, and service. We seek a Field Operations Technician to perform MACD tasks and restore and test services on Nokia, Infinera, and Ciena equipment, while ensuring high-quality customer interactions.

You will travel with a company vehicle, install and repair fiber/copper services, and test circuits using OTDRs in a dynamic field environment across diverse sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, business installation and service for electronics, appliances, security, and/or cabling.
• Customer-focused approach with integrity, empathy and sincerity.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service experience to every client
• Resolve customer issues calmly and professionally using effective de-escalation techniques
• Perform on-site installation and repair of internet services, copper and fiber cabling, demarc extensions, and rack-mounted networking equipment
• Diagnose technical problems and implement solutions, including running new cable, replacing hardware components, and installing data circuits for internet connectivity
• Follow Ledcor's safety standards and ensure proper use of vehicles, tools, and equipment at all times
