Job summary

Uniti is seeking a Customer Service Technician to install and repair residential and business communications services, including telephone, internet and video. You will train with tools and test equipment, recommend solutions, and work on buried and aerial plant with climbing and ladder work.

You will operate the service vehicle and adhere to safety standards in both indoor and outdoor environments. Required is a High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights.
• Experience with basic technology and math.
• Two-year technical degree in computers/electronics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair residential and business communications services (telephone, internet, video).
• Train with tools and test equipment to service multiple technologies and network designs.
• Recommend products and services to meet customer needs.
• Work in buried and aerial plant requiring climbing and ladder use.
• Safely operate and maintain company service vehicle and follow safety standards.
• Work indoors and outdoors and respond to after-hours callouts.
