Job summary

Uniti Group is seeking a Customer Service Technician to install and repair telecom services for residential and commercial customers across the United States. You will train with test equipment, recommend solutions, and work on both buried and aerial plants, requiring ladder/climb skills and safe vehicle operation.

You will perform duties in indoor and outdoor settings, completing safety training and adhering to regulations while supporting after-hours callouts and varying schedules.

Qualifications

• Requires basic technology and math skills.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to distinguish colors for color-coded cables.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb as needed.
• Willingness to work day/evening/weekend/holiday hours and respond to after-hours callouts.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair residential and business communications services including telephone, internet, and video.
• Train and work with tools and test equipment to service multiple technologies and network designs.
• Recommend products and services that meet customers’ communications needs.
• Work in buried and aerial plant, requiring pole climbing and ladder skills.
• Safely operate and maintain company service vehicle; work inside and outside environments.
• Complete required safety training and comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Report to the Manager of Local Operations.
