Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services seeks an experienced Superintendent to oversee large-scale long-haul ILA installation projects. You will manage day-to-day field operations, develop project plans, monitor performance, anticipate client needs, and mentor colleagues across multiple sites.

You will drive safety programs, lead scheduling and resource allocation, and ensure high-quality delivery while coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a Telecommunications Construction Superintendent or equivalent role.
• Underground fiber installation knowledge is a plus.
• Construction documents, drawings, specs, and practices knowledge.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to supervise craft workers and subcontractors.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects meet approved plans, specs, and codes.
• Lead development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs; supervise investigations.
• Update schedules, address delays, contribute to schedules.
• Estimate activity durations and materials for complex projects.
• Handle reporting and tracking of project finances.
• Participate in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement, and negotiations.
• Set priorities and allocate resources for the field team.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project staff.
