Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead large-scale long-haul ILA installation projects. You will oversee day-to-day field operations, develop plans, monitor performance, and mentor colleagues. Travel to project sites across multiple states is expected on a rotation.

The role requires 3–5 years in telecom construction supervision, strong leadership and problem-solving abilities, and solid scheduling and budgeting knowledge.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in telecom construction supervision.
• Knowledge of underground fiber, civil or wireless construction is a plus.
• Post-secondary education in construction, engineering, or related discipline is an asset.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to supervise craft employees and subcontractors.
• Good problem solving and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects meet approved plans, specs and building codes.
• Develop Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs; oversee investigations.
• Review and update construction schedules; address delays.
• Estimate activity durations and materials for complex projects.
• Track financial aspects and reporting for the project.
• Participate in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement and negotiations.
• Set priorities and allocate resources for the field team.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project staff.
