Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services seeks an experienced Superintendent to oversee large-scale long-haul ILA installation projects across North America with travel to multiple states on a rotation. You will manage day-to-day field operations, develop plans, and monitor performance to meet client needs.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in telecommunications construction supervision, strong leadership and communication skills, and a solid understanding of construction documents and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience as a Telecommunications Construction Superintendent or similar role.
• Knowledge of underground fiber installation; civil or wireless construction is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specs, and practices.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to supervise craft workers and subcontractors.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects meet approved plans, specs, and codes.
• Lead development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs; oversee incidents.
• Update schedules; address delays; contribute to timelines.
• Estimate activity durations and materials for complex projects.
• Monitor financial aspects and reporting.
• Participate in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement, negotiations.
• Set priorities and allocate resources for the field team.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project staff.
