Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Construction Superintendent to lead large-scale long-haul ILA installation projects across multiple states. You will oversee day-to-day field operations, develop project plans, monitor performance, and mentor crew members, ensuring safety and quality at every stage.

The role requires 3-5 years in telecom construction supervision, strong leadership, and excellent communication. Travel to project sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience as a Telecommunications Construction Superintendent or a similar role.
• Knowledge of underground fiber installation, civil or wireless construction a plus.
• Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is an asset.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practices.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Will ensure projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codes.
• Leads the development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs, and oversees incident investigations.
• Reviews and updates construction schedules, addresses delays, and contributes to project schedules.
• Estimates activity durations and materials for complex projects.
• Working knowledge of reporting and tracking of financial aspects of the project.
• Participates in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement, and negotiations.
• Will set priorities and allocate resources as needed for the entire field team.
• Provides leadership and mentorship to project staff.
