Ledcor Technical Services in the United States seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead large-scale long-haul ILA installation projects. You will oversee day-to-day field operations, develop project plans, and monitor performance to ensure client needs are met.

Join our True-Blue team to mentor colleagues, lead safety programs, and drive quality on complex telecommunications construction sites across multiple states with travel on a rotation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Telecommunications Construction Superintendent experience.
• Knowledge of underground fiber installation or civil/wireless construction is a plus.
• Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or related discipline is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practices.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to supervise craft employees and sub-contractors.
• Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to anticipate and address issues.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects meet approved plans, specs, and building codes.
• Lead development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs; oversee investigations.
• Review and update construction schedules; address delays.
• Estimate activity durations and materials for complex projects.
• Report and track financial aspects of the project.
• Participate in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement, negotiations.
• Set priorities and allocate resources for the field team.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project staff.
